The Shawnee Mission Radio Control Club (SMRCC) was founded in 1962 and our headquarters are located within Shawnee Mission Park, 87th & Renner Road in Lenexa, KS.
The club harbors a deep commitment to having fun with radio control model aircraft! New members and visitors are always welcome. Bleachers are available for spectators. Flying your aircraft at SMRCC must balance safety and public access to our field. To accomplish that goal you must be a member of SMRCC and flight checked to receive flying privileges. There are two exceptions to this, trainees working with one of our instructors and all AMA members are welcome to any of our Fun Fly events held throughout the year.
